CONVERSATION THEME / 02

Practice & professional context

Discuss the responsibilities, communication and current working relationships around creative practice.

01

Name the actual working relationship

A resident role, a guest arrangement, a teaching context and a past collaboration are different things. Explain which relationship applies now and who can confirm it. A location tag or a shared photograph does not automatically establish a current agreement or access to another organisation.

02

Make communication specific

A useful professional enquiry identifies its purpose, the people responsible and the information needed next. Keep duties, timing, permissions and actual terms clear. A conversation should not quietly become a claim of reciprocal eligibility, licensing, employment or an accepted commission.

03

Respect the limits of the exchange

Professional discussion can add perspective without replacing appropriate training, supervision, assessment or qualified guidance. This association website does not authorise practical activity or publish clinical procedures. Keep a contribution within your actual experience and make its limits clear.

04

A possible roundtable

The proposed working-context roundtable would focus on clear briefs and professional communication. It has no confirmed date, venue, host or speaker list. An expression of interest does not register attendance, establish eligibility or approve a professional relationship. Actual arrangements need their own operator and written terms.

BRING THE CONTEXT

A more useful question.
A considered exchange.

Use these questions to prepare a conversation. Actual participation arrangements require confirmation with the responsible operator.

  1. Which relationship is current and who confirms it?
  2. What is the purpose of the discussion?
  3. Which actual terms, responsibilities or permissions remain unanswered?
